The Inside Wireman (Electrician) program requires a 5-year commitment to excellence. To learn all the skills necessary to install and maintain the types of electrical systems and equipment found in commercial and industrial facilities. This could include lighting, power distribution, motors and any other electrical systems that require energy to keep a facility running. The best electrical workers go on to earn an excellent living.

Program Highlights:

5-year apprenticeship program

Minimum of 8,000 hours on-the-job

Minimum of 990 classroom hours

In the classroom, all apprentices study theories relating to the job tasks important to the trade. Classroom instruction incorporates hands-on training with online lessons that reinforce concepts taught by some of our industry’s leading instructors. Continuing education opportunities and certification courses are also offered.

Apprentices in the 5-year Electrician program train to proficiency in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of various electrical systems on commercial and industrial jobsites.
