As a SOTX apprentice, you’ll GET PAID while you learn your craft in our five-year program. This type of opportunity isn’t gifted to just anybody. You’ll need to pass our entrance exam and will be required to pay a $28 application fee.

Application

To start electrical training you must first complete and submit an application form. You can complete an application online or in person. Supporting documentation (see below) will be required in order to complete your application. Documents may be uploaded; however, original documents must verified in order to complete application.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPRENTICESHIP

YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 17 YEARS OLD TO APPLY & 18 YEARS OF AGE TO PARTICIPATE IF SELECTED.

Documents needed to verify the minimum requirements are, but not limited to:

1. Valid driver’s license or state issued photo ID
2. Certified copy of your birth certificate and/or Social Security Card
3. Official copy of your high school transcript showing successful completion of Algebra I
4. Diploma, Transcript, or GED showing High School graduation or equivalent 
5. Form DD214 (military veterans only)
6. $28 application fee, payable online
